Piano Concert: An Evening with Lincoln Mayorga

Mr. Mayorga is bringing his incredible talent back to Huletts Landing with a program that will include the Preludes by Chopin, a salute to the “Tin-Pan Alley” songwriters of the 20th century, including Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Jerome Kern along with a dash of Disney! He has had a long career and the LA Times has called his artistry, “Impeccable pianism”. Mr. Mayorga’s resume includes concert performances, recordings made with a wide variety of artists such as Barbara Streisand, Johnny Mathis, Frank Zappa and Quincy Jones and a long time spent as staff pianist at Walt Disney Studios. His repertoire includes many musical genres from classical to Broadway to popular song. In recent years Mr. Mayorga has taken pleasure in developing and performing a number of musical tributes such as “A Century of Cole Porter”, “A Tribute to George Gershwin” and “American Snapshots: Two Hundred Years of American Song. He has enjoyed his visits to Lake George and is looking forward to returning to Huletts. Come and help us welcome him back!
